What we Believe
FOUNDING VERSE
"AS THE FATHER HAS SENT ME, EVEN SO I AM SENDING YOU." (JOHN 20:21)
What we believe:
What we believe
We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal and visible return in power and glory.
We believe that humankind was created in the image of God and therefore, has dignity and worth, that s/he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, and by Whom the Church is empowered to carry out Christ’s great commission.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

BUILDING BLOCKS FOR A SENDING FOUNDATION
To remain faithful to our calling as a sending community shaped by Christ’s mission, and to ensure NPU’s continued flourishing, three foundational commitments will guide our journey forward:
- Enrollment Growth – Expanding our community of learners to 1,000 students, multiplying the number of leaders we send into the world.
- Program Expansion – Building upon the strength of our existing programs and launching new academic pathways that equip students for meaningful service in a rapidly changing world.
- Accreditation – Pursuing accreditation as a demonstration of our commitment to excellence, credibility, and accountability, ensuring that our mission is carried out with integrity and enduring impact.
With prayerful dependence on God, our vision is to see these goals realized by June 30, 2028. Together, we step forward in faith, believing that NPU will continue to be a place where leaders are formed, the gospel is proclaimed, and the mission of Christ is carried to the nations.
By 2028, Northpoint University will be a sending community of 1,000 students, strengthened by expanded programs and the accreditation process, faithfully equipping leaders to carry the gospel to the world.
