A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

Welcome to Northpoint University!

We, Northpoint University, are fully committed to develop and implement a new paradigm of equipping for pastors, urban missionaries, bi-vocational pastors, lay ministers, church administrators, church musicians, worship leaders, media artists, chaplains and international missionaries in the postmodern era.

Coming out of the confluence of mainline and evangelical traditions, we intentionally focus on new missional ideas and practice coupled with the reformational traditions,

I personally believe that I have found a missional hexagon DNA consisting of missionary identity, a mission field, an incarnational method, a missionary message, an interim period and a missional goal. I am doing my best to apply those. For example, I identify myself as a community missionary.

We are endeavoring to help you articulate a theology, create your own ministry plan that fits your local missional setting. Our faculty members are practioner-theologians. Our faculty and staff are striving to nurture and mentor students to equip them to discover and expose problems, think over them creatively and collaboratively and work out solutions and strategy for ministry and mission.

All faculty members take great delight in helping students with their studies. For example, I personally have a passion for tutoring students writing their dissertations step by step. My tutoring will make dissertation writing easier for students.

We aim at joining the Sending God in local, domestic and international mission together.
